Inspired by our popular “Sundowner” event, which we have been hosting amidst the vineyards since 2020, the idea for a truly special Wine was born. 

It was intended to reflect that unique zest for life in the vineyard.

No easy feat. The bar was set high!

It quickly became clear – the Wine had to be a Rosé Wine! The color alone perfectly complements a sunset.

Furthermore, it needed to be truly exceptional. Intense aromas & paired with a summery lightness. Radiant depth, surprising with elegance and a subtle spice. A Wine that delivers on the palate exactly what it promises on the nose!

Now, the high art of winemaking was called for!

A single grape variety could not achieve this balancing act. But a cuvée skillfully combined could! The suitable grape varieties were quickly decided upon.  

The first choice fell to the Syrah grape variety. Popular in South Africa, it has also been growing in Herxheim near Landau for 5 years. The changing weather creates perfect conditions, allowing this grape variety to thrive wonderfully with us.

Together with the deeply rooted Pinot Noir vines, the perfect foundation was created. However, it is only the masterful vinification in the Wine cellar that transforms the grapes into true jewels.
